Soulja Boy made his way to The Breakfast Club this morning (Jan. 16) sitting down with Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God DJ Envy to address a slew of topics.
Believing that he paved the way for numerous artists that are now able to monetize off social media, Soulja Boy is demanding homage from numerous acts, like Drake, Tyga and Kanye West.
“Everybody doing what I did. They laughed at me. They said I killed hip-hop. And now they doing exactly what I did and I’m being shunned upon. I’m the reason doing this. I’m the reason why all these artists have social media. Y’all should thank me. All y’all record labels, owe me 5 percent”
