It’s been a long haul for the TDE songstress who has voiced numerous frustrations via Twitter about her label stalling on the release of new music to the public which resulted in a #FREESZA campaign created by fans.

“Don’t nobody need to free me. Lmao I’m not held hostage n neither is my music!! Me n Punch be disagreeing…he’s never steered me wrong and I trust God’s timing. I love y’all,” said the singer in a follow-up tweet.
The visual serves as SZA’s directorial debut, where she showcases her dancing skills while she singing about a relationship that has sparked a different side of her over The Neptunes-produced track.
“I cried just explaining to Pharrell what he meant to me growing up here in the burbs—being one of five black people in my radius,” SZA tells Apple Music. “It just was really crazy because you have your idols in your mind and I avoid mine all the time in case it don’t go well. And I just was really astonished. Chad was just perfect and Pharrell was just perfect. It was too perfect.”
