Taxstone Arrested on Gun Charge Related To Irving Plaza Shooting

Podcast personality Taxstone, real name Daryl Campbell, was arrested this morning by U.S. Marshals New York, New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and NYPD in connection to the shooting that took place at Irving Plaza back in 2016 which resulted in one man dead and Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave being arrested, in which the rapper has since been free on $500,000 bail and pleads not guilty. According to NBC, the Tax Season curator has been charged on a “federal warrant charging him with being a felon in possession of a firearm and was also being sought by the NYPD in relation to the Irving Plaza shooting.”

Taxstone will be arraigned tomorrow morning (1/17) facing a federal weapons possession charge and may be facing a violation of probation as well due to previous arrests surrounding weapons and robbery charges in Brooklyn.
