UPDATE 1: Maino Says him and his entourage was not involved in the shooting.
Original Story: Following news reports of Troy Ave being involved in the shooting taken place last night at Irving Plaza in New York, it has been reported that the man who died in the shooting was apart of Ave’s entourage.
BSB affiliate Banga, who was Ave’s bodyguard, was brought to Beth Israel Hospital on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, where he was later pronounced dead. Banga’s mother, Rose, told NY Daily News that Troy Ave was at fault for the shooting and bashed him for not sending his condolences:
He actually cared a lot about Troy Ave. My wish is that Troy Ave cared as much about my son as he cared about him. I say that because I watched how my son would always bend over backwards to help him.
Though it was reported by Karen Civil last night that the Brooklyn rapper was grazed by a bullet, it is now reported that Troy was not only firing shots, but SHOT HIMSELF IN THE LEG and allegedly shot Banga by accident while in retaliation. ABC7News tweeted footage of the “All About The Money” rapper firing shots:
