Yesterday (1/17), it was reported during his arraignment that Daryl “Taxstone” Campbell would be released on $500,000 bond following his arrest in the alleged involvement in the Irving Plaza shooting that took place last May. After his DNA was found on the hand gun and magazine of the weapon that fired the fatal shot resulting in the death of B$B bodyguard, Ronald “Banga” McPhatter, the New York Daily News reports that Tax’s bail has since been denied.

According to The Daily News, Manhattan Federal Magistrate Judge Andrew Peck reversed his decision of letting Taxstone out on bail after being persuaded by prosecutors, who argued that the podcast personality “posed a danger to the community and said witness testimony would ‘directly show’ he fired, at a minimum, the shot that killed McPhatter.

Additional charges may be bought against Campbell, according to prosecutors.
