Over the last few weeks, Tink has been on a promotional run for her third studio album, “Pillow Talk,” executive produced by Hitmaka.
Recently earning a gold plaque for her Hopeless Romantic project cut, “Cut It Out,” Tink describes her latest project as “a very sexy, soft mood.” With 16 tracks, the Chicago native taps on the services of 2 Chainz, Muni Long, Toosii, Fabolous, G Herbo, Russ, and Layton Greene.
“Many of these songs were written solely by me, I’m still pushing my pen,” she shared. “Hitmaka and I put a lot into this. This album indeed feels like you are laying in your bed talking to your guy or girl. It’s a very sexy, soft mood.” Pillow Talk is a follow-up to Tink’s 2021 project, Heat of the Moment.
Prior to the album’s release, Tink dropped the official video to her latest single “Goofy.”
Following his 2023 release, Mental Trillness, Juicy Jreturns with the official sequel.
With 16 tracks, the project features contributions from Sukihana, Project Pat, Xavier Wulf and idontknowjeffrey. “I got about 7 albums I’m dropping 2024 I never worked this hard in my life,” Juicy J wrote on X. “after this I’m gonna buy a house on the beach let my hair grow all the way out & become a full time hippie ya dig?”
After facing a barrage of diss tracks from the likes of Future, Metro Boomin, Kendrick Lamar, and more, Drake returns with a response that appears to have leaked online.
Earlier this week, Rory and Mal of the New Rory and Mal podcast teased the diss on episode 258, with Rory dropping hints like, “Drop down & give me 50,” a line directly lifted from Drake’s response.
“Pip squeak pipe down, you ain’t in no big three, SZA got you wipe down, Travis got you wiped down, Savage got you wiped down, like your label boy you Interscope right now” “How the f*** you been big steppin with size 7 mens on”
“Maroon 5 need a verse, you better make it witty, then we need a verse for the Swifties, Top say you drop, you better drop and give up fiftyyy”
Drake’s reply to J. Cole’s apology for dissing Kendrick Lamar: “And that f*cking song y’all got is not starting beef with us/This sh*t been brewing in a pot, now I’m heating up/I don’t care what Cole think, that Dot sh*t was weak as f*ck”
Drake’s clapback at Rick Ross:
“I might take ya latest girl and cuff her like Ricky, can’t believe he’s jumping in, this n**** turning 50, every song that made it on the chart he got from Drizzy, worry bout whatever going on with you and—”
Drake’s response to Metro Boomin:
“Metro shut your h*e ass and make some drums, n****”
