Last month, Troy Ave was arrested after firing shots in the VIP section of Irving Plaza where T.I., Maino, Uncle Murda, and more were slated to perform. The incident resulted in three injured and the death of B$B affiliate, Banga. Many speculated that it was Ave who mistakenly killed his former bodyguard; but according to the ballistic testing results, the ammunition that was fired from Troy Ave’s gun via the video footage did not trace back to the Brooklyn rapper.

Though Ave has beaten the murder charge, he is now facing five felonies that could land a couple decades in prison. The charges include: one count of attempted second degree murder and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

With the “All About The Money” rapper set to appear in court next week, his lawyer, Scott Leemon, is requesting a bail hearing as he explained to TMZ, “The video does not show everything nor explain what happened in the VIP room before Troy came running out, as a victim, after he was shot.”
