Troy Ave was released Monday morning after posting $500,000 bond.

According to the New York Daily news, it was Troy Ave’s mother who posted the $500,000 bail after putting up her home. Now placed on house arrest, the B$B rapper is to be on an ankle bracelet and cannot leave New York City. Troy Ave cannot only see his children in New Jersey, but has been forbidden to enter any bars, arenas, and “performance venues” where he was previously scheduled to perform.

Troy Ave was previously arrested after a shooting had taken place on May 25th during the T.I. & Friends show in New York City which resulted in Ave facing attempted murder, weapons possession, and other charges in connection to the shooting. Ave’s bodyguard, Banga, real name Ronald McPhatter was killed during the shooting, however the Brooklyn rapper denies being the shooter.
