Tonight, MTV kicks off the 2016 Video Music Awards at Madison Square Garden.  We are certainly in for a treat tonight as we get to watch what Kanye West will do with his four minutes of unscripted time, see Future perform on the VMA stage for the first time, and much more.

For this year’s award show, Beyoncé and Adele are in the lead for nominations. With the two powerhouses made their return in music, Beyoncé is in the lead with 11 nominations for her visual album, Lemonade, while Adele trails behind with 8 nominations for her album, 25; with 7 being for her groundbreaking “Hello” visual.
