Jay-Z To Release New Docu-Series, ‘Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story’
After previously collaborating with The Weinstein Company to bring us the Kalief Browder docu-series on Spike TV last year, Jay-Z is now teaming up with the Paramount Network to premiere is forthcoming docu-series, Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story. Focusing on the life of Trayvon Martin, the series will focus on the life of the native that was tragically taken away by the hands of law enforcement, the Black Lives Matter Movement, racism, and the American criminal justice system. Set to premiere in July, the docu-series is based on the book, Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin, written by Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin.
