J. Cole had a groundbreaking 2018 with the release of his fifth studio album, K.O.D.

Since dropping the project, J. Cole had become more open to interviews, sitting down with Angie Martinez, Billboard, and even Lil Pump to talk about the effects of self-medication, how he felt about the new generation of rap, and having a peace of mind.

Not to mention, the Dreamvillan had done numerous features on records with Miguel, 6LACK, Wale, Jay Rock and Rapsodyjust to name a few.

Normally, this would be the time where J. Cole would slow down, however, he shocked fans when he announced that a third installment of the compilation series, Revenge of The Dreamers, would be coming. Flying out numerous producers, journalists, and tastemakers, Cole made sure to keep everything under wraps. However, the reviews of the highly-anticipated project have been keeping fans on heels.

J. Cole on Twitter: “The Revengers sessions are done thank you to every artist and producer that came through. I love y’all, that shit was beautiful. Next step, finish the songs and let the 🌎 feel em. / Twitter”

Though we do not know what has come about as a result of the ROD3 sessions, Cole took to social media earlier this week that he would be releasing a new record titled, “Middle Child.”

Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer T-Minus (“Kevin’s Heart“), fans are wondering what Cole has to say, as a middle child is known to be the black sheep or outcast of the family. Does he feel that way about himself and the rap game.

Quavo has fired back at Chris Brown with a new diss track, “Over Hoes & B*tches,” following Brown’s earlier release of “Weakest Link” aimed at him. This exchange began when Brown dissed Quavo on his track “Freak” from the deluxe version of his latest album, “11:11.” Quavo countered with “Tender,” prompting Brown’s response.

The latest track premiered on DJ Akademiks‘ livestream on Monday, Apr. 22, with Quavo targeting Brown and his associates from OHB, Saweetie and more.

“Lil boy wanna die ’bout some coochie?/You still fucked up ’bout Karrueche?/You tried to beat up Teyana, but Usher wouldn’t let you do it/The cocaine got him your honor, bipolar disorder, no wonder/You was the greatest, n***a, you fumbled/Going out sad, I’m watching you crumble.” Quavo spits.

Chris Brown has since responded to the diss stating that he’s disappointed.
