Kendrick Lamar Drops New Drake diss titled “6:16 in LA”
After dropping “Euphoria” earlier this week, Kendrick Lamar returns with his second Drake diss, “6:16 in LA.” Drawing from Drake’s signature style of titling tracks with time stamps in various cities, such as “5 am in Toronto” and “6 PM in New York,” Lamar’s latest diss track pays homage to the legendary Tupac Shakur, whose birthday falls on June 16th. This subtle nod to Tupac, on what would have been his 53rd birthday, finds Kendrick Lamar doubling down on his “hate” for Drake.

Kendrick Lamar Returns with New Drake Diss, ‘Euphoria’
For the last few weeks, Drake has been on Kendrick Lamar‘s head since his diss on Metro Boomin and Future‘s We Don’t Trust You track, “Like That.” After Drake returned fire with two diss tracks titled, “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” Kendrick Lamar returns with with a six minute diss track towards Drake titled, “Euphoria.”
“This ain’t been ’bout critics, not about gimmicks, not about who the greatest/It’s always been about love and hate, now let me say I’m the biggest hater/ I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk/I hate the way that you dress,” Kendrick spits, referencing DMX’s 2012 interview on The Breakfast Club.
Kendrick also mentions J. Cole on the track, rapping: “Cole and Aubrey know I’m a selfish guy, the crown is heavy/I pray they my real friends, if not, I’m YNW Melly.“
