As many continue to mourn and protest in response to the death of 46-year-old George Floyd, Beyonce took to an Instagram her response and a call-to-action.

“We need justice for George Floyd,” said the singer. “We all witnessed his murder in broad daylight. We’re broken and we’re disgusted. We cannot normalize this pain. I’m not only speaking to people of color. If you’re white, black, brown or anything in between, then I’m sure you feel hopeless by the racism going on in America right now.”

In her bio, Beyonce links the petition where people can sign as a demand for more charges brought on all those involved in the death of George Floyd.
