Bobby Shmurda Receives Extended Prison Sentence After Promoting Prison Contraband

Currently serving a seven-year sentence after accepting a plea deal in relation to his conspiracy and weapons possession weapons, it looks like Bobby Shmurda will be spending more time behind bars over at Rikers Island. According to Bossip, the “Hot Ni*gga” accepted a plea deal this evening that stemmed from a 2015 charge promoting contraband. The Brooklyn rapper admitted to Bronx Supreme Court Judge, Marc Whitten, that he and his girlfriend, Kimberly Rousseau, in fact, did try to sneak in a “sharp metal object” into Rikers Island in 2015 before correctional officers caught him.

After accepting a plea deal, Bobby Shmurda faces anywhere from 1.3 to 4 years in addition to his seven-year sentence. As for his girlfriend, Kimberly Rousseau, there has been no mentions how many years she will be facing after pleading guilty.
