Fabolous Premieres Brooklyn Nets’ ‘Nike City Edition’ Jersey
Always representin’ where he’s from, the Brooklyn Nets have decided to honor Brooklyn rapper Fabolous with a partnership of unleashing the basketball team’s brand new Nike City Edition uniforms during their game against the Philadelphia 76ers, last night. Calling the event “Fabolous Night,” the Summertime Shootout rapper had 100 kids from his neighborhood of Bed-Stuy who are the recipients of his foundation, A Fabolous Way, come to the Barclays Center and shoot around following a photo op and getting to know them.
The Nike City Edition uniforms were inspired by the Brooklyn Bridge, which includes graphics that represent the steel cables.
