Cardi B Hot Sh*t

Since the release of Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B has gone on to release top-charting singles including  ‘WAP‘ and ‘Up‘ and also found herself featured on Normani‘s “Wild Side,” Summer Walker‘s ‘No Love’ remix and Kay Flock‘s “Shake It.”

As she prepares for the release of her sophomore album, Cardi B returns with her brand new single, ‘Hot Sh*t.’ After releasing the trailer during the BET Awards, Cardi B links up with Lil Durk and Kanye West over the Tay Keith-produced track.

Prior to the record’s release, Cardi sat down with Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1 about the release and collaborating with Kanye West and Lil Durk.

“Kanye gave me this verse a couple of months ago when he was just all over the media, because of all of the things that were going on, and I like how his verse it’s personal, but it’s not that personal,” she said. “It’s enjoyable in the clubs that you could be like, “Yeah, yeah. You talk your big cash.” I really love it. And I’m so happy that he gave me this verse. And I had a lot of conversations with Kanye west. I learned so much about him and he’s such an amazing, sweet person. I’ve been feeling like, I wish a lot of people have conversations with him so they could just see the real…the him.”

As far as Lil Durk, Cardi admitted it was the label’s idea. “You know what’s so crazy? I never spoke to Lil Durk before, right? I was having a meeting with my label and everything and I was like, “It is missing something. We still missing a artist to it.” And it said, “How about Lil Durk?” And I’m like, “Yeah. All right. Send it to him.” And as soon as they sent the record, the next day, I feel like a couple of hours, they was like, “Oh yeah, he sent in the verse.” I was like, “Oh s**t.” And I loved it right away. He just for that young energy to the record.”

Kendrick Lamar Disses Drake & J. Cole on ‘Like That’ from Future & Metro Boomin’s New Album, 'We Don't Trust You' miixtapechiick

Just moments ago, Future and Metro Boomin released their highly-anticipated new album, “We Don’t Trust You,” to the world.

One track that immediately stands out from the project is “Like That,” featuring Kendrick Lamar. On this particular record, the Compton native boldly takes aim at Drake and J. Cole. This seems to confirm the ongoing tension between Metro Boomin and Drake, which came to light a few months ago on social media. In the midst of this conflict, Drake referred to Metro Boomin as a ‘tweeter and deleter’ in a video response to Metro Boomin’s criticism of Drake and 21 Savage’s joint album, ‘Her Loss.’

Metro Boomin disses Drakes Her Loss

Drake’s video sign-off, “Look at my eyes — you guys wanna do something? That’s what I thought,” prompted Metro Boomin to retaliate with a video skit referencing on “X” where the character says, “Whoa, Calm Down Jamal, Don’t Pull Out the 9.” This skit humorously portrays interactions between Black people and racist white individuals on a basketball court.

In “Like That,” Kendrick Lamar delivers incisive bars: “Sneak dissin’, first person shooter, I hope they came with three switches. I crash out, like, ‘F–k rap,’ this Melly Mell if I had to. Got two Ts with me, I’m snatchin’ chains and burnin’ tattoos, it’s up. Lost too many soldiers not to play it safe. If he walks around with that stick, it ain’t Andre 3K. Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD. Muthaf–k the big three, n—a, it’s just big me. N—a, bum, what? I’m really like that.”

Cardi B Releases New Song ‘Enough (Miami)’ miixtapechiick

After releasing her ‘Like What (Freestyle),’ Cardi B returns with her brand new single, ‘Enough (Miami).’ The single follows her appearance on the remix of Flo Milli‘s ‘Never Lose Me’ alongside SZA.

“The song was originally called ‘And Her Name is Cardi K,’ the rapper revealed on Instagram Live. “And the reason why I called this song ‘Cardi K’ … I said it in an interview … I was really angry. I felt like … bitches were ganging up on me. I felt like I was very underestimated. Even my fanbase. I have a big fanbase, but it’s very underestimated…” She continued with, “So ‘Cardi K,’ I don’t know if you know how people say, ‘EBK,’ like ‘Everybody Killa.’ I just felt like everyone was on some ‘Cardi K’ shit, like ‘Y’all on some Cardi Killa shit? Then fuck you hoes! Fuck you bitches!”

“I got in the studio feeling angry, but honestly, I’m not in that space right now. I don’t give a fuck about nobody right now. But that’s her original name. Her original name is ‘Cardi K,’ but her stage name is ‘Enough/Miami.‘”
