Drake Hides ‘Iceman’ Release Date Inside a Block of Ice in Downtown Toronto
Drake gave his fans some work to do on Monday, April 20. He took to Instagram Stories to post a clip of himself measuring a block of ice, and followed it hours later with a Google Maps pin and the caption “Release Date Inside. 81 BOND STREET DOWNTOWN TORONTO.” The coordinates place the structure near Bond Street and Dundas Street East in downtown Toronto, by St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica.
Fans who make the trip will have to wait it out. Reports confirmed that people are not allowed to touch the structure for safety reasons, meaning the date stays frozen until the ice melts on its own.
The stunt is the latest move in the rollout for his forthcoming album, Iceman.

Ice Spice Responds to McDonald’s Fight: “This Wouldn’t Happen at Wendy’s”
Ice Spice took to X after footage of her McDonald’s altercation circulated online, reposting the clip with the caption “this wouldn’t happen at Wendy’s.”
Ice Spice is also a Wendy’s partner. On April 9, she posted “still rich still craving @wendys new spicy chicken sandwich #wendyspartner” on X, and Wendy’s replied “U KNOW IT.” She worked at the chain before her music career and recalled the experience on The Kelly Clarkson Show last year. “There would be really annoying workers and characters,” she said. “I would low-key appreciate them. But, like, low-key, though.”

As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Ice Spice was involved in a physical altercation at a Hollywood McDonald’s on Wednesday, April 15. In footage obtained by TMZ, she was at the restaurant with a friend when a woman approached their table uninvited and tried to squeeze in next to them. When Ice Spice and her friend asked her to leave, the woman slapped her. A brief scuffle followed before the woman’s friend pulled her away. The confrontation continued outside, where the woman threw another punch at Ice Spice while the group was crossing the street, leading to a second scuffle. Video also shows Ice Spice picking up a phone from the ground belonging to someone in the other group, which she allegedly smashed.
The woman, identified as Vayah, gave her own account, claiming Ice Spice was rude when she approached to show her support and that she slapped the rapper after being called a “bitch.”
Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen addressed the incident in a statement. “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” Cohen said. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”
As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Ice Spice is also currently being sued by a New York wig maker over an unpaid $20,000 order for her 2024 Y2K tour. The lawsuit, filed in November 2025 by TheBellaBrand LLC, claims Ice Spice ordered 25 custom wigs on a rush timeline and then refused to pay. Total damages sought in the complaint exceed $400,000, including punitive damages.
