Enchanting Releases New Song ‘I Take It Back’

Published

on

Last night, The New 1017 rapper Enchanting released a new single with a music video called ‘Take It Back.’ She sings about the adversities of relationships and the urge to take back all of the time lost after a breakup.

‘I should’ve listened when you said you was a bad boy// You turned me out and gave me feelings I ain’t had, boy // I should’ve known you wasn’t shit when I felt paranoid // You ran your game, and I went with it, guess I asked for it’

So far, Enchanting’s supporters have taken a liking to this project as she has consistently proven her versatility as a music artist. Her debut single with K Shiday (both part of So Icy Girlz rap duo) “No Luv” back in 2020 was foundational to Enchanting’s budding career as fans have been captivated by her flow and sexy-cool delivery.

Also, prior to the release of “Take It Back” she posted a cover video to Kiana Lede’sAttention.” The switch between Big Chant the rapper and R&B Chant proves her duality and edge — she’s enchanting regardless of the genre!  She has the pen and the voice which makes her stage name a no-brainer.

As of now, Enchanting is scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud in Miami this summer alongside Saucy Santana, Baby Tate, Dreezy and more.

Earlier this year, Skilla Baby released his 16-track project, “The Coldest,” via Geffen, featuring collaborations with Polo G, Flo Milli, Moneybagg Yo, G Herbo, DaBaby, Rob49, Mozzy, NoCap, Jeremih, and Tay B.

The Detroit native has now returned with the official deluxe version, which includes additional tracks such as “Soulja Slimm” featuring Rob49, “Bobby Trap on The River,” and “Body Bangin’,” among others. The deluxe edition also features contributions from Bossman DLow, Baby Money, and Southside.

“I took my time to put this project together… Sometimes, I feel like people try to place me in a box. The pressure of being a new artist, being successful, staying disciplined, and still clocking into the studio is very strenuous but fun at the same time,” Skilla shared during the album’s initial press release. “As an artist, I’m known as the ‘girl’s guy,’ but I’ll never forget I come from the streets. As a real person, I feel so many emotions: mad, sad, happy, anxious, etc. I say that to say sorry for the wait, but I wanted to put everything I feel into one project. Grab your coats…,” he continued.

The deluxe version of “The Coldest” follows Skilla Baby’s joint tour with Rob49, “Vultures Eat The Most Tour.”
