Juelz Santana Pleads Guilty to Airport Gun Charges

Back in March, Juelz Santana had a warrant out for his arrest after a loaded .38-caliber handgun and unprescribed oxycodone pills were found in his carry-on bag at the Newark Liberty International Airport. Turning himself in three days later, Santana has since been out on bail and can only travel on tour under the supervision of his mother, following his indictment in May.

Unfortunately, things did not work out in Juelz Santana’s favor as he returned to court today and pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft, according to the office of U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito.

According to the Associated Press, the Dipset rapper is in talks of a plea deal where he can face only two to five years in prison. As of now, Santana is facing up to 20 years in prison (both charges carry a maximum sentence of 10 years) and will appear in front of a judge on December 12th.
