Lauren London has officially been granted guardianship of Kross Ermias Asghedom’s estate, her son with legendary rapper, Nipsey Hussle, who tragically passed away in March.
Hussle left behind $1 million for his son, Kross, to inherit. However, London had to file for guardianship over the 3-year-old’s estate due to the fact that she and Hussle were not married.
According to documents obtained by The Blast back in July, London stated that if she were granted guardianship, she would look out for Kross’ “best interests” and continue to participate in any legal matters with Nipsey’s estate and probate on his behalf.
Hussle’s brother, Blacc Sam (born Samiel Asghedom), who was appointed his brother’s estate back in August, will be administering the $1 million to London.
According to TMZ, there were no disputes between London and the Asghedom family when it came to Nip’s estate; however, there was indeed some drama with Tanisha Foster – the mother of Hussle’s daughter, Emani, who is also expected to inherit at least $2 million from her father’s estate.
Samantha Smith, Hussle’s sister, was just granted guardianship of Emani, after the Asghedom family reported that Foster was an unfit mother, during a court appearance for custody. Blacc Samm, and Nipsey’s other sister, Angelique Smith, have also been documented as Emani’s legal guardians.
Nipsey Hussle passed away back in March outside of his flagship store, The Marathon Clothing, after being shot. His alleged killer, Eric Holder, is currently awaiting trial facing two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm.
