Lauren London Pays Tribute to Nipsey Hussle in New Puma Campaign: ‘Forever Stronger’
Back in September, Puma teamed up with Nipsey Hussle‘s estate to produce a limited clothing capsule of The Marathon Clothing, with all proceeds going to the Neighborhood “Nip” Foundation.
Closing out the year, Lauren London has announced she will be collaborating with Puma on a new campaign titled, Forever Stronger, paying tribute to late boyfriend, Hussle. In a three-minute clip, London rides through the streets of Crenshaw and Slauson, where Nip was raised, while reciting a poem penned by Hussle’s sister, Samantha Smith.
The video ends with London standing in the middle of the road, surrounded by palm trees, channeling the final shot taken of Hussle and London just months ago for their GQ cover story.
“Lauren London is proud to join forces with PUMA to support her on this next chapter of her journey,” PUMA shares via the YouTube description. “This piece was a creative vision Lauren wanted to bring to life to signify the continuation of her marathon alongside PUMA. Forever Stronger.”
