It’s been a long month as we continue to be under quarantine. With only two weeks and today marking the first Monday of May, it was only right to bring back MASS. Mondays. This week, we have new music from Breeze, 7981 Kal x G. Fredo, Alejandro Blanco x Goose Dinero x K.I.L., Prince Smooth, and SeeFour.
Be sure to stream their music below.
Do you have new music that should be featured on MASS. Mondays? Give me a shout: email@example.com
1. Alejandro Blanco, Good Dinero, K.I.L.
Artists: Alejandro Blanco, Goose Dinero, K.I.L.
Single: Summer Off
With Dinero Off Blanco set to drop soon, Alejandro Blanco, Goose Dinero, and K.I.L. team up for the first single off the forthcoming project titled, ‘Summer Off.’ Over the production of CHASEY peralta, the trio intends to enjoy the fruits of the labor this summer after working hard all winter long.
The record serves as a follow-up to Alejandro Blanco’s All About Dinero LP, released earlier this month.
This is the perfect song to ride to in these quarantine streets.
2. Prince Smooth
Artist: Prince Smooth
Single: ‘Just How It Is’ (Freestyle)
After dropping “Big Capi” last month, Prince Smooth returns with a freestyle over Young Thug’s “Just How It Is.” Solo in the Tanj-directed clip, the Fields Corner rapper tells us in a minute and 26 seconds how he was able to get it in the mud.
Did he do Young Thug’s record justice? Watch above.
Be sure to stream Prince Smooth’s The Catalina project out now.
3. 7981 Kal, G Fredo
Artists: 7981 Kal, G Fredo
Single: ‘Dead Opps Pt. 3’
One thing I’ve always loved about 7981 Kal’s and G Fredo’s videos is how much fun they’ve seen to be having while being backed by drill instrumental. In ‘Dead Opps Pt. 3,’ the two HSM rappers clearly have words for some people and give us an official video, in case you didn’t get the message.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from YounginTrue, who’s been in his producer bag. Dropping Eastside Fairytales back in 2019, Truliano returns with his brand new single, ‘Options.’
Always providing a vibe, YounginTrue speaks on never switching up on his day one shorty regardless of the notoriety. With two minutes and 21 seconds in running time, I wish the track was longer.
It’s going on my playlist, for sure.
Song: On God
Releasing his Redline EP in collaboration with Jules Juliano last summer, SeeFour returns with the official video to his latest offering, “On God.” Starting the visual with a behind the scenes look of his mother and manager commenting on his craft to a stage performance in front of a sold-out crowd, the visual then shifts to the rapper riding through the streets of his hometown while putting everything on the big man upstairs.
This is definitely an uplifting record you’d want to play on a Monday morning to start your day.
Single: Run Arounds
For all of the essential trappers, Brezze releases his brand new single, “Run Arounds.” All about getting a check, Brezze isn’t letting the quarantine slow up his money. Let’s be real, anyone making plays during a pandemic like this is an essential worker.
Stream “Run Arounds” above.
Video: AR Godda 15 & Germ Shockii – ‘Classical / 2 Wise Men Pt. 2’
Linking up with Meechiee Columbia last month on “Big Dawg,” AR Gooda 15 returns alongside Germ Shockii for his latest offering, “Classical.”
Serving as a warning to their enemies, AR Godda 15 & Germ Shockii have always been about the beef and gunplay and suggest that you stay in your lane. Directed by FNS Films, the visual switches from “Classical,” to Germ Shockii’s 2 Wise Men Part Two, a sequel to his 2013-track “2 Wise Men” off his Far To Kind mixtape.
Video: Mar’ve – ‘Trust Nobody’
After giving us “Important” last month, Mar’ve returned with a new visual titled, “Trust Nobody.”
Over the production of MagicOnTheBeat and TrenchGotGame, Mar’ve lays out the numerous reasons why he trusts no one while giving us advice on why we shouldn’t either.
Embarking another chapter of his life, Mar’ve gives us insight on being let down by those closest to him which has made him who he is today, but it’s also a reminder that he’s not the one to sleep on.
MASS. Mondays: Cincinnati Rose, Shay Bandz, Vanni, K.I.L.
It’s the last Monday of the month already, which means we’re closer to nice weather. As February comes to a close, it’s only right that I bless you with some new heat that’s dropped in the past week. Check out new music from Cincinnati Rose, Shay Bandz, Vanni, and K.I.L. below.
$hay Band$ – ‘Famous’
After bringing us “No Features” back in January, Shay Bandz returns with her highly anticipated visual, “Famous.” Originally teased after the release of her August-single, “Distant,” fans, including myself, have been patiently waiting for the release of this video. Serving as a follow-up to “No Features“, “Famous” features footage from the artist’s 20th birthday and simply reminds us why she’s the first lady of Shooterz Music Machine. Her words are lethal and the haters just wish they could be her.
K.I.L. – NO I.D.
Giving us “Harvard Square” last month, K.I.L. returns with his latest offering, “No I.D.” Off his Separation EP, K.I.L. never fails to deliver in his verses. From wanting his LP to produced by NO I.D. to iterating that he can never be duplicated, K.I.L. knows he hasn’t reached his peak yet and continues to stay on his grind.
Cincinnati Rose – Sleazy Thoughts
Recently appear on ripe—tanjerines’ The Orange Room for a live performance of “All Alone,” Cincinnati Rose links up with the infamous director again for the official video of his single, “Sleazy Thoughts.” In the opening verse, Cincinnati Rose calls out the frauds who cap about being about the streets while spittin’ about who he is as a person, maintaining his integrity and remaining militant, and outsmarting the snakes.
Vanni Allan Poe – ‘Bachelor’ ft. Cash Rari
We haven’t heard much from Vanni after dropping The Cure Vol. 1 & Vol. 2, but that’s not to say he hasn’t been working. Recently making an appearance on Triy’s TriySeason: The Unexpected Journey album cut, “Forever” alongside KamGeez, the multifaceted artist links up with Ballads From The Trap partner and NNCHVLNT labelmate Cash Rari for the release of his brand new single, “Bachelor.” Though they’re looking for someone to spend their life with, they’re making it clear that they aren’t settling for less and may have to turn to being a Bachelor.
