It’s been a while since we’ve posted a #MASSMONDAYS, as we’ve been working on some behind-the-scenes stuff, but we’re back! This week, we’re featuring KIL The Artist & Billy Escobar and Monaveli who dropped their new projects last Friday, as well as Trottie Y Gizzle who ended March with a new visual of his own. Check it out below.
MonaVeli – Rich (EP)
This past Friday, MonaVeli dropped her debut EP, Rich.
Hosted by Charlie Masheen of CWTFB Radio, Rich is supported by previously released singles, “Wants and Needs” and “Truth” featuring Tsu Surf, and features additional support from Shane Dylan, Paradox King, Wave6, JrMadeIt and Yae Marvelous.
“The goal is to forever put the city on,” said MonaVeli in an Instagram caption.
KIL The Artist & Billy Escobar – Only Built 4 Triple Beams
Following his 2020 EP, ‘Seperation,’ KIL The Artist & Billy Esobar have teamed up to release their 12-track effort, Only Built 4 Triple Beams.
Inspired by Raekwon & Ghostface Killah‘s 1995 release ‘Only Built 4 Cuban Linx,’ KIL The Artist & Billy Escobar tap on the services of BOSSDUNGUNZ and Alejandro Blanco.
“WE TOOK OUR TIME & WAS CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE,” said KIL at the time of the release. “ONLY BUILT 4 CUBAN LINX IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE ALBUMS OF ALL TIME IYKYK. WE WANTED TO PAY HOMAGE TO A CLASSIC ONE OF THE REASON WE DO WHAT WE DO. IF WE DIDNT DO IT JUSTICE IS WASN’T COMING OUT. WE HAD TO PUT TOGETHER A TIMELESS BODY OF WORK”

Trottie Y Gizzle – Cold Heart
There isn’t a month that goes by without new heat from Trottie Y Gizzle. After delivering the video to “Light Stretch” just two weeks earlier, the Boston Drill rapper continues the campaign for his latest project Dancing With The Devil with the official video to “Cold Heart.”
Y Gizzle’s Dancing With The Devil features 18 tracks with features from Ricky Mazarati, Packo and Makda.
New Music: Chelley Marie is ‘Ice’ Cold!
Boston’s very own — Chelley Marie (500 degrees), is back with another single! Make sure your bass is fully boosted because she’s here to remind you that she’s the hot girl dripped in all things ‘Ice‘ cold. With some chains you could see shining from afar, you already know there’s always a pair of wandering eyes on her.
‘Long hair ass fat, they want to hit this
bad b-tch on they wish list like it’s Christmas
you ain’t talking bout no f-cking money gotta dismiss
chain glistening, they see the ice from a distance’
She’s definitely one to be invested in but treads lightly: the thin lines between admiration and jealousy are not that hard for her to detect! Chelley issues a warning out to those who’ve been a little heavy-handed with her name. In short, whatever you think is tea, you can bet that she’ll bring back something scorching hot.
‘Acting shady but I made you hoes confident
Hating on me is just boosting my confidence‘
You really can’t outdo the do-er!
Hopefully, she has some more tricks up her sleeve!

7981 Kal Releases Long-Awaited Record ‘G Code’
You may remember the record which was featured at the end of the rapper’s “RICO” visual. With 7981 Kal already serving close to two years and Young Thug and Gunna recently getting arrested on RICO charges, we’re sure fans can understanding why sticking to the “G Code” is so important and the timeliness of the record’s release.

New Music: $hayBand$ Drops 2nd EP ‘Female Pain Muzik’
$hay sets the tone of this collection with her first record named ‘Toxic.’ Thanks to her Cartiers, she’s blind to the BS and wrapped up in bright visions of her aspirations. Considering all the turmoil, who could blame her for her toxicity?
In her EP’s second track — ‘Ride or Die,’ $hay sets the scene with a sample from ‘U Should’ve Known Better’ by the one and only R&B songstress Monica. For a brief 2 minutes, $hay shares why those who’ve crossed her in the past should’ve done better: when she’s in it, she’s committed. She never falters on her word and on that premise, she expects no less from the next man who stands before her.
‘Love Again’ is a lamentation of lost love. She rants about the lip service she was given toward the beginning of a budding relationship. She essentially explains how past heartbreak has built a wall between herself and any new chances of vulnerability.
As you can see, $hay is more than jaded. She continues to speak her truths in ‘Make It Back,’ ‘Mud,’ and ‘Drug Story.’ Her heart is made of diamonds: precious yet durable.
In her ninth track, ‘Roses’ $hay demands her man to show his love if it’s real. Considering all of the lies and betrayal — especially after hanging around all of her carbon copies, she has no choice left but to leave blood on the roses.
Despite the mess, she’s stilling ‘Shining’ and she tells us all about how clever she truly is despite being taken for granted. We all know how men will see a good thing and still fumble it.
“Don’t you lie to me
Thinking you ain’t gon’ get caught
B-tch I’m a diamond I get what I want”
At the end of all the chaos, $hay ends with a ‘Ghetto Love Story’ featuring KM Popout that’s filled with expectations in a potential partner, ultimatums, glimpses into past heartbreak, and more.
