Meet The Newest Signee of XO Records — Chxrry22!

Toronto R&B/Pop singer Chxrry22 just joined artists like NAV, Black Atlass, and Belly as the newest signee of The Weekend’s XO Records!
As a child, she never truly imagined living the music industry lifestyle but as she got older, she began to take her talents seriously. Since 2017, the singer has been posting cover videos which have gone viral.
Check out her debut single ‘The Falls.’
The song sounds dreamy — but the subject matter it is quite hellish for her partner. Chxrry22 not only clarifies her sexual escapades to her (ex) partner but also the fact that she’d even do it all again. She leaves nothing but unapologetic truths.
“He had me in Niagara Falls
Missin’ all your calls
We was in the moment losing all control
Getting deep inside
Felt alive
Can’t say I’m sorry, I’ve got too much pride
It was the spur of the moment”
Isn’t it so refreshing when women put the blues in R&B? At the very least, she is pretty thoughtful. Toward the end, she sprinkles in a morsel of advice:
“I’m doing my thing, you should do the same”
With her new platform, rest assured we’ll be hearing nothing but hits from the singer!
