NYPD Commander Reportedly Being Investigated After Telling Officers to Shoot 50 Cent on Sight

Emanuel Gonzalez, a Brooklyn precinct NYPD commander, is reportedly being investigated after allegedly telling officers to shoot 50 Cent on sight during a roll call, last summer.

Gonzalez, has been with the precinct for 30 years and remains on active duty.

“The matter is under internal review,” police revealed in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, woke up to the headlines this morning (Feb. 17) and takes the threats very seriously. Jackson stated he will be consulting his legal counsel about this matter.
