Following the triumphant release of his critically acclaimed album, Luv 4 Rent, St. Louis-native rapper Smino is back with a brand new single titled “Wyoming Freestyle.” The song showcases Smino’s undeniable talent and ability to deliver innovative, cold flows that have earned him a loyal following.

Smino, who made his long-awaited return to the music scene with Luv 4 Rent in October, has proven that his music is truly timeless. After a four-year hiatus following his 2018 release, NOIR, fans have been eager for more of his signature sound. Luv 4 Rent also marked Smino’s first album under a major label, as he signed a partnership deal with Motown Records through his own label, Zero Fatigue.

“Wyoming Freestyle” offers fans a fresh and captivating track, while staying true to Smino’s introspective and self-reflective style. The rapper’s latest album delves into the theme of self-love, a topic Smino has explored in his previous work. In a recent interview with Complex, he shared, “Self-love is definitely a big theme on this album, and I also think another way to interpret it is I was leading other people to self-love, too.”

Although it remains uncertain when Smino will drop his next full-length project, the release of “Wyoming Freestyle” is a testament to his commitment to keeping fans satisfied with new music. As the anticipation builds for more releases, Smino continues to solidify his position as one of the most innovative and creative artists in the hip-hop scene.

“Wyoming Freestyle” is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Skilla Baby Drops The Coldest (Deluxe) miixtapechiick

Earlier this year, Skilla Baby released his 16-track project, “The Coldest,” via Geffen, featuring collaborations with Polo G, Flo Milli, Moneybagg Yo, G Herbo, DaBaby, Rob49, Mozzy, NoCap, Jeremih, and Tay B.

The Detroit native has now returned with the official deluxe version, which includes additional tracks such as “Soulja Slimm” featuring Rob49, “Bobby Trap on The River,” and “Body Bangin’,” among others. The deluxe edition also features contributions from Bossman DLow, Baby Money, and Southside.

“I took my time to put this project together… Sometimes, I feel like people try to place me in a box. The pressure of being a new artist, being successful, staying disciplined, and still clocking into the studio is very strenuous but fun at the same time,” Skilla shared during the album’s initial press release. “As an artist, I’m known as the ‘girl’s guy,’ but I’ll never forget I come from the streets. As a real person, I feel so many emotions: mad, sad, happy, anxious, etc. I say that to say sorry for the wait, but I wanted to put everything I feel into one project. Grab your coats…,” he continued.

The deluxe version of “The Coldest” follows Skilla Baby’s joint tour with Rob49, “Vultures Eat The Most Tour.”
