Trottie Gang’s Trottie Y Gizzle & Trottie Moula Arrested on Gun Charges



Trottie Gang’s Trottie Y Gizzle, born Jaquori Lyons, and Trottie Moula, born Trevon Bell, were arrested during a sweep Wednesday, Feb. 17, conducted by members of the Boston Police Department (Youth Violence Strike Force, BPD SWAT, City Wide Drug Unit.

In collaboration with police departments from surrounding towns, BPD executed several search and arrest warrants where officers recovered “four firearms, ammunition, 144 grams of suspected fentanyl, additional Class B Drugs, additional Class E Drugs, as well as other evidentiary items,” according to liveBoston617.

Lyons was arrested in Dorchester in accordance with an outstanding warrant issued for his arrest and is being charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and carrying a loaded firearm while Bell is being charged with three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, and two counts of unlawful possession of ammunition.

As of Sun., Feb. 28, Y Gizzle has been released and has started a ‘Free Trottie Moula’ campaign as his childhood friend remains behind bars.

G Fredo’s Sentencing Date on RICO Conspiracy Finally Announced

Earlier this week, we exclusively reported that HSM’s Hamma Thang was found not guilty in the 2018 murder of Kelby Ramos. As the month continues to move along, HSM’s G Fredo will be sentenced this coming week after being arrested back in June 2020.

G Fredo, born Michael Brandao, was of 31 individuals arrested and charged in federal court on RICO conspiracy; conspiracy to distribute controlled substances; and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances. In June of 2022, the ’34 Baby’ entered a guilty plea on all three charges, alongside Hamma Thang and 7981 Kal.

According to G Fredo’s mother via an Instagram post, G Fredo is scheduled for his sentencing hearing on Wednesday, January 25, at 2:30 PM. She has invited friends and family to come and support.

G Fredo faces up to 40 years in prison, six years of supervised release and a fine of $1.2 million if he is sentenced to the fullest extent of the law.

According to the Department of Justice, “the charges of RICO conspiracy and committing violent crimes in aid of racketeering each provide for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000; charges of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances each provide for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $1 million.”

Earlier this week, G Fredo’s management dropped a new record titled, “Win.” The record is set to appear on Fredo’s forthcoming mixtape, FRIZZBLOCK.

Cardi B Sparks New Album Rumors

Last month, Cardi B was on Instagram Live where she was very honest about why she has yet to release her sophomore album.

“I know y’all been saying that I gotta drop this album, that I’ve been lacking,” she said. “I’ma have to be real with y’all: I feel like I have gotten too comfortable because I’m just a mom! I’ve been having a lot of anxiety ’cause I know right after I drop my album, I have to go on tour and I have bad separation anxiety from my kids.”

“And then when it comes to music, I just feel like I don’t like anything,” she continued. “I feel like I got so many songs and I don’t like nothing, I feel like nothing is good enough. I got so much fucking money saved up that I just be like, ‘Whatever.’”

She added: “Now, making music to me has become a job that gives me anxiety because everybody just critiques everything that I do. Sometimes you just don’t want to do something that gives you that much anxiety, so I just be like freezing myself. But I have to let that go, I have to release more music. I have to just go out there.”

However this month, the Bronx native was spotted in the studio with Brooklyn Johnny. Brooklyn Johnny is A&R that played an instrumental role in bringing Cardi and Kodak Black to Atlantic Records.

“Y’ALL READY?! #CardiB,” he wrote in the caption.

Back in 2018, Cardi B dropped her debut album, Invasion of Privacy. The album featured contributions from  Migos21 SavageSZA and more, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after moving 225,000 units in the first-week. Since then, she’s dropped les — “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion and “Hot Shit” featuring Kanye West and Lil Durk.

Frank Ocean, Bad Bunny & BLACKPINK To Headline Coachella 2023

Coachella has officially revealed it’s line-up for its 2023 festival.

Scheduled to take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California over the course of two weekends: April 14-16 and 21-23, this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will be headlined by Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK and Frank Ocean.

Frank Ocean was previously scheduled to serve as headliner in 2021, however, the festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
