A perfect way to start the year off, Cardi B has carried her superstar status into 2018 making history again as she becomes the third artist and first rapper in history to score three top 10 hits in the Hot 100.

Releasing her second single, “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage just two weeks ago, the record has made its debut on the charts at number 14 on the Hot 100. With this accomplishment, the Bronx rapper shares the throne with Ashanti and The Beatles, as her featured verse on G-Eazy’s “No Limit” sits at No. 4 and Migos’ latest single, “MotorSport” holds at No. 7; all while Cardi B’s debut single, “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” returns to the top 10, at no. 12.

Ashanti was the last artist to have her first three entries on the Hot 100 chart simultaneously with her debut single, “Foolish,” along with her guest features on Fat Joe’s “What’s Luv?” and Ja Rule’s “Always on Time,” back in 2002.

This serves Cardi B’s second major achievement with Billboard, as she made history back in September of 2017, becoming the first female rapper to sit at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 without any other billed acts since Lauryn Hill in 1998, and the first female soloist to top the Hot 100 with a debut track unaccompanied by another artist since Meghan Trainor in 2014.

Congratulations Cardi B!
