Cardi B first made history when she reached the no. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 back in October 2017 for her debut single, “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves).” Reigning the charts for three weeks straight, Cardi B became the first female rapper to sit on the throne without any other billed acts since Lauryn Hill in 1998, and the first female soloist to top the Hot 100 with a debut track unaccompanied by another artist since Meghan Trainor in 2014.

Though the Bronx native is taking some time off to focus on her pregnancy with husband, Offset, Cardi B has made history once again peaking at the No. 1 spot this week on the Billboard Hot 100 with “I Like It,” her third single featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin off her debut album, >Invasion of Privacy.

Cardi B is the first female rapper with two No. 1s on the Billboard charts.
