R&B singer-songwriter H.E.R. is back after a year-long hiatus, bringing her highly anticipated Lights On Festival to Mountain View, California’s Shoreline Amphitheater on September 16 and 17.

Last Tuesday (June 27), H.E.R. took to her Instagram page to announce the festival’s return, along with an incredible lineup. The event promises to be a musical extravaganza, featuring renowned artists like PARTYNEXTDOOR, Jazmine Sullivan, Don Toliver, Doechii, DVSN, Alina Baraz, and many more. In addition, the festival will introduce emerging talents such as Ayra Starr, Ravyn Lanae, Uncle Waffles, FLO, Symba, and Leon Thomas, who will grace the stage and bring a fresh blend of musical prowess.

“I’m thrilled that the Lights On Festival will be back this year,” said H.E.R. in a press statement. “It’s the perfect way to close out the summer, celebrating with two days of phenomenal R&B. The lineup this year is remarkable, and I can’t wait to see what unfolds!”

H.E.R.’s Lights On Festival is set to be a celebration of talent, bringing together established names and rising stars from the R&B genre. With a stellar lineup and the beautiful backdrop of the Shoreline Amphitheater, music lovers can expect an unforgettable experience filled with soulful performances and a vibrant atmosphere.

General sale for the festival’s tickets launched last Friday (June 30). Fans can purchase tickets through the festival’s partner, Live Nation Urban.

The announcement came after fans engaged in a unique interactive experience on Spotify, where they filled in the blank for a canvas that teased the album’s name as “_____ Over It.”

Leading up to its release, Walker has announced the first single, “Heart of a Woman,” now available for pre-save, which she teased on TikTok. Finally Over It is the follow-up to her chart-topping sophomore album, Still Over It, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

After collaborating with Ty Dolla $ign on Vulture 1 & 2, Kanye West surprised fans by announcing his forthcoming solo album titled Bully during a live performance at the Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou, China.

“I got a new album coming out,” he revealed to the audience. “The album’s called ‘Bully,’ and this song is called ‘Beauty and the Beast.’” He then debuted the song, which features his signature vocal style over an instrumental. The lyrics include, “I still think about it every night and day to try to stay away, to keep my audience / Don’t take this disrespect, I’m sitting here trying to redirect.”
