H.E.R. Returns with New Single ‘Damage’
Scheduled to make her debut on Saturday Night Live (SNL) this week as the show’s musical guest, H.E.R. takes the time to release her new single, “Damage.”
Singing about another potentially toxic situation, the songstress is accompanied by vocals from Ant Clemons, who also co-wrote the “Making Love In The Rain”-sampled track, produced by Cardiak.
“Holdin’ me tight, lovin’ me right, givin’ me life / All night you could be / Tellin’ me lies, makin’ me cry, wastin’ my time,” the 23-year-old sings.
“Damage” is set to appear on H.E.R.’s forthcoming album scheduled to release via MBK Entertainment/RCA Records
