As the summer begins to wrap up, artists are bringing us content left and right. This time around, we have ten artists for this week’s #MassMonday.
Normally, we try to cut it down to five, but it didn’t feel right. So, get ready to listen to some new content.
Video: Celly Bucks – Detroit
Recently announcing his forthcoming EP, Diamond In The Streets, Lynn’s own Celly Bucks returns to the trenches on his latest offering, “Detroit.” Sampling Raekwon‘s “Ice Cream,” the trap-infused instrumental allows Celly Bucks to bring us a subtle flex in the TANJ-directed clip.

Video: Q Philly ft. TwoGzLikeGucci – Get Me Lit
It looks like Shooters Muzik just added a new addition to the roster. After Shay Band$ made her label debut with “Distant,” Boston’s own Q Philly releases the official video to his latest effort, “Get Me Lit” featuring TwoGzLikeGucci. Directed by @HarvardsEye, the record serves as the perfect introduction for the two artists, as we learn what not to do around them, the type of company they keep and get an inside look of life in the trap.
Gang don’t ever miss.
Uche Malik & Wayup Rui – For The Night ft. Y.D.A.
Uche Malik is probably one of the few artists I’ve heard from the state in the genre of AfroBeats. After randomly coming across him through a retweet via Twitter, I’ve been hooked. To makes things better, Y.D.A. and Wayup Rui have now been added to my watch list as well. The three artists recently came together to bring us the record, “For The Night.”
According to Malik, the money from record purchases will be donated to “organizations working to help aid Nigeria affected by COVID-19 and other tragic occurrences.”
Video: Cash Gotti – Break Night
Releasing the single just two weeks ago, Cash Gotti returns with the official video to the Intl Show-produced track, “Break Night.”
Serving as a follow-up to “They Know,” Cash Gotti continues to show and prove why there is really no one in his lane doing what he does.
The record is set to appear on Gotti’s highly anticipated debut album, Everything Dirty.
Video: Dun Dealy & BoriRock – ‘Real One’
Dropping “God’s Call” earlier this year, Dun Dealy returns with frequent collaborator BoriRock for his latest offering, “Real One.”
Accepting nothing less but realness from their peers, Dun Dealy and BoriRock drop some encouragement and life lessons over the street anthem.
Watch below.
EP: Alejandro Blanco – Texacaliny
Fearless Music Group has always been a vibe. After YounginTrue dropped his Coldest Vibe project, Alejandro Blanco follows right behind with the pressure dropping his brand new EP, Texacaliny.
Executive produced by ‘Produced By Ricky,’ Blanco doesn’t miss (per usual), sparking inspiration from Texas, California, and New York.
Stream the project below.
EP: Jazzmyn RED – REDvolution
2020 has been long. Like, long long. Between the pandemic and the unjust killings of Black people at the hands of police, rapper Jazzmyn RED decides to use her voice to spark conversation on her latest EP, REDvolution.
Ranging from topics of domestic violence, street violence and police brutality to the feelings of desensitization related to said violence, Jazzmyn RED gives us a battle cry to get through it all.
A strong project, “ShootHER” resonates the most. Not only as a black woman, but constantly enduring the tired feeling of being unequal and questioning whether or not it’s worth to raise a child in a hateful world. (She did that, though).
Stream below.
Video: Chitho & Ricky France – ‘GIGI’
Both new to the website, Chitho and Ricky France complement each other WELL as a duo. When I saw the teaser visual on Instagram, I was upset that I have heard neither of their music before, but here we are now!
The bass on “GIGI” will do your Bluetooth speakers justice, whether you’re in your home or in your vehicle. If this record isn’t enough for you, stream last month’s collaborative effort, “Andela.”
EightyEight & Sonni Mai – ‘What You Do’
Slowing things down, EightyEight teams up with Sonni Mai on “What You Do.”
Serving as a follow up to his May project, Inside Out, EightyEight finds himself embarking relationship woes, realizing that he may have found the one. Realizing that he’s no longer the person he used to be, the singer acknowledges these new feelings and can’t put his finger on how his new love got him this way.
With Sonni Mai coming in with her angelic sound, she too feels the same about this new found romance that has swept her off her feet.
Stream below.
Triy ft. Rosewood Bape – ‘That’s My Baby’
Triy has always been known to deliver a bop at the right time.
After hosting an Instagram Live concert last month, the artist teams up with Rosewood Bape for brand new single, “That’s My Baby.” Serving as a follow-up to “Do You Think About Me,’ Triy’s latest offering is set to appear on his debut album, The Unexpected Journey, coming soon.
It’s a shame that the clubs are closed because this would surely go off.
VIDEO: DJ WHY SHAM – ‘We Run The City’ ft. CakeSwagg & Kay Wattz
Beginning the campaign for her forthcoming debut album, Finally, DJ WHY SHAM kicks things off with the release of her lead single, “We Run The City.”
Tapping on Boston-bred rappers, CakeSwagg & Kay Wattz, the two artists deliver a lyrical massacre over the aggressive instrumental, produced by DoomWeed.
With cameos from Brandie Blaze, Red Shaydez, Amanda Shea and more, it’s more than clear that Boston has always had next.

Following Kendrick Lamar‘s release of ”Not Like Us” on Saturday, Drake swiftly responds with his own diss track, “The Heart Pt. 6.”
In a clever nod to Kendrick’s previous diss, Drake aptly chose to dub his latest diss “The Heart Pt. 6.” Kendrick, who had previously named his diss track “6:16 in LA,” borrowed from Drake’s signature style of titling tracks with timestamps in various cities. Notably, Kendrick Lamar has gained renown for his ongoing “The Heart” series, releasing “The Heart Pt. 5” back in 2022.

In his latest diss, Drake unveils revelations about Kendrick being misled regarding Drake’s alleged daughter on “Meet the Grahams.”
“You waited for this momеnt, overcome with the desperation / We plotted for a week and then we fed you the information / A daughter that’s 11 years old, I bet he takes it / We thought about giving a fake name or a destination / But you so thirsty, you not concerned with investigation,” he raps.
He continued with, “You gotta learn to fact check things and be less impatient / Your fans are rejoicing thinkin’ this is my expiration / Even the picture you used, the jokes and the medication / The Maybach glove and the drug he uses for less inflation / Master manipulator, you bid on the speculation.”
Drake also doubles down that Dave Free fathered one of Kendrick’s children and questions why Kendrick hasn’t seen his children in six months.
“And why isn’t Whitney denying all of the allegations? / Why is she following Dave Free and not Mr. Morale? / You haven’t seen the kids in six months, the distance is wild / Dave leaving heart emojis underneath pics of the child,” he raps.

In the early hours of Saturday, May 3, Drake unleashed “FAMILY MATTERS,” taking aim at Kendrick Lamar. In retaliation, Lamar fired back within the hour with his response, “meet the Grahams.”
The saga continues as Kendrick has unleashed yet another scathing diss track titled “Not Like Us.” Over Mustard‘s production, Lamar continues to confront Drake, exposing allegations of underage relationships, entanglements with Lil Wayne’s girlfriend, and much more.
The cover art for the single shows Drake’s Toronto mansion with markers typically reserved for identifying sex offenders.
“Say Drake I hear you like em young, to any b*tch that talk to em and they in love, make sure you hide your little sister from em,” Kendrick spits.

May 4, 2024Kendrick Lamar did not take kindly to Drake‘s latest diss track, “FAMILY MATTERS,” and has fired back with another diss towards the Toronto rapper an hour later on a track titled “meet the grahams.”
On the latest diss track, Kendrick is extremely direct, bringing up Drake’s mother, father, and son. He also reveals that Drake is hiding another child, a baby girl, and doubles down on claims that Drake is dating underage girls.
On Drake’s alleged second child:
“I’d like to say it’s not your fault that he’s hiding another child/Give him grace/That’s the reason I made Mr. Morale.”
Drake’s mother, Sandra:
“Dear Sandra, your son got some habits/I hope you don’t undermine them.”
“Your son’s a sick man with sick thoughts/I think n—-s like him should die/Him and Weinstein should get fucked up in a cell for the rest of they life/ And we’ve gotta raise our daughters knowing there’s predators like him lurkin’/Fuck a rap battle, he should die, so all of these women can live with a purpose.”
Drake’s father, Dennis:
“You raised a horrible fuckin’ person/The nerve of you, Dennis”
