#MassMondays: SliccBae, Wave Capone, BTL FLEE, Clark D x Guyclaude

Yes I know, it’s been a while. But, it wouldn’t be me if I weren’t fashionably late. This #MASSMONDAYS will feature the latest from artists I’ve been listening to these last few months. No write-ups, just vibes. Check out who I’ve been listening to below.
SliccBae ft.Borirock – BabyRock
Discovering who she was during a Sir Clark D (now known as Clark D) show at Black Market Nubian over the summer, I was sooooo excited to stream music from SliccBae when I got home. Who other to collaborate with than BoriRock on her first official video, “BabyRock.”
Wave Capone – Trench Poetry
Earlier this month, Wave Capone released his brand new mixtape, Misunderstood. Y’all know my kind of music is pain music and Wave literally lets it all go on “Trench Poetry” which is more than likely why the record serves as the closing track on Misunderstood. The project features 12 tracks with a lone feature from $hayBand$.
BTL Flee – 4 A.M
With his project Life of A Bandit out now, BTL Flee returns with the official video to his latest offering, “4 A.M.” The record serves as a follow-up to his March release, “Pour Up Liquor.”
Clark D x Guyclaude – A Family Affair
Ahead of Thanksgiving, Clark D and Guyclaude unleashed their project, A Family Affair. Giving us 11 tracks, the two brothers tapped on the services of Seefour, Tamera King, Miranda Rae, Dos, Michael Christmas and Echezona. Released under their Finally Famous imprint, stream the collaborative project below.

WHOLELOTTA MONEY Releases ‘Watch My Step’

Having dropped “Bouncing Out” back in September, WHOLELOTTA MONEY returns with his latest release, “Watch My Step.” Directed by Harvard’s Eye, the rapper finds himself in a therapy session, revealing his trials and tribulations. Despite the challenges, he remains vigilant, emphasizing the importance of watching his step and not letting life get the best of him.

Doobie Loc Teams Up with BoriRock on ‘Cold Summer’

Following the release of his single last month, Doobie Loc is back with the official video for his latest track, “Cold Summer.” Collaborating with Feed The Family’s BoriRock, the song cleverly samples Fugees’ “Ready or Not.” BoriRock consistently dazzles us with his lyrical prowess, setting a high standard every time he opens a track. Doobie Loc, in turn, offers a glimpse into his life, affirming that the experiences he raps about are authentically lived.

IFN Akai & Ishafromthe978 Team Up on the Wizz Dakota-Produced Track “Shake”

After collaborating with $hayBand$ and June OX on “WTF!?”, IFN Akai now joins forces with Ishafromthe978 on the Wizz Dakota-produced track “Shake.” Despite its duration of two minutes and thirty-five seconds, the track undeniably stands out as a banger performed by the Lawrence natives.
