New Release: Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa Drop ‘Sweetest Pie’ Music Video

Published

on

Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa recently released their new song ‘Sweetest Pie‘ with the perfect music video to go along with it!

The scenery looks like the type of wonderland found in the classic fairytale ‘Hansel and Gretel,’ where a witch fattens two siblings with sweets before their brutal demise. The vibrant foliage, sweet pastries and feminine physique seems to depict every man’s dreams!

Unfortunately, the two male trespassers realize that it was all rat trap as they find themselves getting cooked in a cauldron.

Soon after the single’s release, Meg took to Twitter to engage with her supporters. Of course, with such bold imagery, a few folks have not exactly taken a liking to the duo’s music video. One fan pokes fun at the typical ‘devil worship’ accusations that pop artists commonly experience.

Randy ♉⚓️ on Twitter: “Megan can you just be honest. The video was meant to spread a lot of symbolism. From Dua literally being a spider demon, yall being witches, and it being the damn near apocalypse. You can say this was like Hansel & Gretel but that’s not a scary movie. This was devil worship. / Twitter”

Megan can you just be honest. The video was meant to spread a lot of symbolism. From Dua literally being a spider demon, yall being witches, and it being the damn near apocalypse. You can say this was like Hansel & Gretel but that’s not a scary movie. This was devil worship.

I mean… is a pop music video really a hit if there aren’t any Illuminati allegations?

Meg explains that the symbolism speaks directly to the witch hunts that she’s gone through since the start of her career. Despite the hysterics, she still rises to the occasion.

TINA SNOW on Twitter: “The symbolism of the video was how when men come for me I eat they ass up every time and even when y’all go on y’all’s witch hunts attacking women for whatever reasons y’all make up we still rise from the ashes stronger than ever🖤 https://t.co/ImZCE9qgeL / Twitter”

After Meg and Dua escape from almost getting burnt at the stake, they both return to their man-eating antics, which perfectly captures their lives as women who are hyper-visible in the pop music scene.

Kendrick Lamar did not take kindly to Drake‘s latest diss track, “FAMILY MATTERS,” and has fired back with another diss towards the Toronto rapper an hour later on a track titled “meet the grahams.”

On the latest diss track, Kendrick is extremely direct, bringing up Drake’s mother, father, and son. He also reveals that Drake is hiding another child, a baby girl, and doubles down on claims that Drake is dating underage girls.

On Drake’s alleged second child:

“I’d like to say it’s not your fault that he’s hiding another child/Give him grace/That’s the reason I made Mr. Morale.”

Drake’s mother, Sandra:

“Dear Sandra, your son got some habits/I hope you don’t undermine them.”

“Your son’s a sick man with sick thoughts/I think n—-s like him should die/Him and Weinstein should get fucked up in a cell for the rest of they life/ And we’ve gotta raise our daughters knowing there’s predators like him lurkin’/Fuck a rap battle, he should die, so all of these women can live with a purpose.”

It’s been an entertaining two weeks as Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been sparring in a lyrical battle.

Since Kendrick’s diss towards Drake on Metro Boomin and Future‘s We Don’t Trust You track, “Like That,” Drake returned fire with two diss tracks titled, “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” Kendrick Lamar then returned with two tracks towards Drake titled, “Euphoria” and “6:16 in LA.”

The two rappers aren’t done yet, as Drake has just released his response to Kendrick titled “Family Matters.” On the diss track, things get personal as Drake brings up Kendrick’s wife, Whitney Alford.

“Say you hate the girls I fuck but what you really mean / I been with Black and white and everything in between / You the Black messiah wifing up a mixed queen / And hit vanilla cream to help out with your self-esteem.”

Drake also implies that Kendrick’s kids aren’t his, but are actually Dave Free’s, Kendrick Lamar’s longtime creative partner.

“Why you never hold your son and tell him say cheese / We could have left the kids out of this don’t blame me,” he raps.

“Our sons should go play at the park / Two light-skinned kids, that shit would be cute / Unless you don’t want to be seen with anyone that’s Blacker than you”
