BIA Teams Up with J. Cole on New Single ‘LONDON’
Earlier this week, BIA teased her new single ‘LONDON‘ with artwork that featured a hidden figure. Later in the week, BIA revealed the hidden feature was J. Cole and that she would be dropping her new single on Friday.
Fresh off her appearance at J. Cole’s Dreamville Fest., the two team up on the AzizTheShake, Jon Glass and Tim Nihan-produced track and ride the beat effortlessly.
“I damn near didn’t even wanna put this clip up cuz I need everybody to hear this shit PURE. How I heard it,” said J.Cole in an Instagram caption. “I Asked BIA to come through the studio for some whole other shit. First time meeting her. We chop it up. She plays me this new song she had just did. Mannnnnnn. in that moment I was blown away.”
“I thought about this song for a month straight, it was my favorite song and I only heard it one time. She hit me recently and sent me the song (she musta knew I wanted to hear it again!!!) and I was just grateful to have it in my possession.”
Directed by Daps, the official music video was shot all around London, including in Shoreditch and the River Thames. UK drill rapper Unknown T also makes a cameo.
The record marks J. Cole’s first guest verse since the release of the Gangsta Grillz mixtape, D-Day, with Dreamville and BIA latest release following October’s For Certain Deluxe Edition.
