Chloe Bailey Announces Debut Album ‘In Pieces’ for March 2023

Chloe Bailey has announced her highly-anticipated debut album title and release date.

The songstress took to social media to announce the title of her debut album, IN PIECES, is scheduled to drop March 2023. Chloe, who made her solo debut in 2019 with ‘Have Mercy‘ has been teasing her debut for quite sometime now. She announced on discord that the album would not include previously released singles, ‘Have Mercy,’ ‘Treat Me‘ and ‘For the Night‘ featuring Latto.

In support of the forthcoming project, Chloe will be releasing her new single, ‘Pray It Away’ this Friday, January 27.

Broccoli City Festival is set to return to the RFK Stadium Festival Grounds on July 15-16, 2023.

With Brent Faiyaz, Jazmine Sullivan and Lil Uzi Vert to perform as featured headliners for the two-day event  in Washington, D.C., the festival will also feature LaRussell, Lola Brooke, Ice Spice, City Girls, Kodak Black, GloRilla, Chlöe, Tia Corina, Rem and Mariah The Scientist as well as a homecoming performance from Fat Trel.

With Live Nation Urban acquiring stake in the festival, the organizers have also partnered with Adobo DMV to launch a new festival called Tamarindo Festival.

“We always set out to create an event that not only served as a safe space for people from different backgrounds, but also a place where we could celebrate the cultural elements and the heritage that we share,” Adobo DMV Co-Founder Pedro Night told DCist.

Tamarindo Festival will hold its inaugural festival at RFK Stadium Festival Grounds ahead of Broccoli City on May 6, 2023.

Dreamville Fest has officially announced its lineup for their upcoming 2023 festival.

Scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 1 through Sunday, April 2 at Dorothea Dix Park, Drake, J. Cole, Burna Boy and Usher will headline the 2-day festival with additional performances by Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, City Girls, Sean Paul, EARTHGANG, Key Glock, Summer Walker, J.I.D, GloRilla, Bas, Waka Flaka Flame, Mario, and many more.

Last April, Dreamville Fest was met with 80,000 attendees from all 50 U.S. states and more than a dozen international countries, which were treated to a variety of family-friendly activities and local vendors, food trucks, and artisans from the greater Triangle area. To celebrate, Dreamville released the DJ Drama hosted mixtape, D-Day.

Nicki Minaj resurfaced this week after attending carnival in Trinidad & Tobago.

While on di road, the rapper not only announced the return of her Queen Radio show via Amp, but she also announced her brand new single, ‘Red Ruby Da Sleeze,’ which will also drop the same day. The record samples Lumidee’s 2003-single, “‘Never Leave You (Uh Oh)‘. 

‘Red Ruby Da Sleeze’ will serve as a follow-up to Nicki Minaj’s summer release “Super Freaky Girl,” a which sampled Rick James “Super Freak” and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
