New Music: Capella Grey & Nija Drop ‘Confujawn’

Published

on

For this past New Music Friday, Capella Grey and Nija released a new R&B record called ‘Confujawn.’

You’ve probably heard of Capella Grey after he released his infamous summer jam ‘Gyalis.’ Between ‘Gyalis’ and ‘Confujawn,’ Capella switches up from lusting over multiple women to begging his current partner to be faithful.

“Can’t do that nonchalant shit
Mi see it ain’t even that type of party
If that’s how you movin’, copy (Hm)
Can’t be nobody I call my shawty”

In their music video, the two ‘lovebirds’ are shown having an altercation in the beginning. Nija retorts with her partner’s faulty track record. Right after they bump heads, Nija is captured dancing with another man (as she should).

“You know I gotta take precautions (Know I)
Baby you know my body (Know my)
If you do not like me bein’ honest
I’m not the one you should call your girl”

Nija is also responsible for a lot of your favorite hits. She has also released her debut solo project with a jersey club album mix to match!

Although they sing about ultimatums, they are still shown at the end of the video dancing together, which definitely mimics the way that lovers still run back to each other even after their relationship has run its course.

The trailer features two new tracks, offering a taste of what’s to come before his one-night-only show in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 7 at Estádio Morumbi. This teaser comes on the heels of his appearance on Future and Metro Boomin’s collaborative LP, We Don’t Trust You, released earlier this year.
